Recruiting companies provide detailed information such as:
- Job roles and responsibilities
- Qualification requirements
- Job location
- Salary package (CTC)
- Career growth opportunities
- Experience requirements (if any)
- Bond or service agreement (if applicable)
3. Candidate Shortlisting
After students register, companies can access the database of qualified CMAs and shortlist candidates based on:
- Academic performance
- Internship or training experience
- Location preferences
- Age or other criteria
4. Selection Process
Recruitment may include multiple stages, such as:
- CV screening
- Written or aptitude tests
- Group discussions
- Personal interviews (online or physical)
Important Guidelines for Students
Students participating in the campus placement programme should keep the following important points in mind:
1. Verify Job Details Carefully
Before attending any interview, check the following:
- Job role and responsibilities
- Salary package (CTC)
- Job location
- Career growth prospects
Make sure the role aligns with your career goals and expectations.
2. Understand the Offer Acceptance Policy
According to ICMAI placement rules:
- If a student receives multiple offers on the same day, they must accept the first offer received.
- Once an offer is accepted, the student cannot continue participating in further interviews.
3. Results Are Declared on the Same Day
Companies are generally required to:
- Declare final selected candidates on the same day of the interview.
- Submit the selected candidate list to ICMAI placement authorities.
In case companies require additional rounds, they may take up to one week to finalize the results.
4. Participation in Other Companies
If a company does not declare results immediately:
- Students are allowed to participate in other company interviews.
- Final selection will follow the first-come-first-serve basis.
5. Overlapping Interviews
Sometimes interviews may run simultaneously. Because of overlapping schedules:
- Some students may miss certain interviews.
- Students should plan their interview slots carefully.
After Selection – What Happens Next?
Once the recruitment process is completed:
- Companies will share joining dates and onboarding details with selected candidates.
- This ensures a smooth transition from student life to professional employment.
