The vice chancellor of NALSAR University Sri Krishna Deva Rao said that the topics of Insolvency, mediation, corporate philanthropy, and bankruptcy are important to research in future. Businesses around the world avoid failure by seeking the help of insolvency experts early.

Insolvency professionals focus towards digital skills, empathic listening skills and digital skills. In the case of fraud activities, the compliances related to crime and transparency are throwing challenges to the insolvency professionals. Insolvency professionals require people skills, technical acumen, and legal knowledge to be at the top of the profession. The research in insolvency promotes the demand and opportunities of insolvency professionals.

Mediation is popular in the US. It is handling the cases without a courtroom. The problems in Indian courts have similarities to that of American cases. The statistical fact is that mediation decreases the time-related issues and wrong judgements. Current mediation techniques contribute to the future research of the subject. Mediation is an emerging subject in law that requires more perfection.

Corporate philanthropy is the activity of managing the impact of business on society. CSR is the broad view of an organisation’s objective towards society. Corporate philanthropy is the narrow view of a company’s objective towards society. Corporations are under pressure to use their resources to create a better world. The corporates show concern towards the pressing problems of the globe. Around 77 per cent of consumers are interested in buying products that are helping society through CSR practices. CSR will increase the value of the company.

In 2023, there were 642 cases under bankruptcy problem. In 2020 the bankruptcy numbers were expected to rise due to COVID-19. The number of 2020 bankruptcies is comparatively lower than 2023.
