CMA Diva Abhishek chairperson of SIRC ICMAI, CMA. Pooja Special secretary to government industries inaugurated oral coaching classes and a regional professional enrichment seminar on the 14th of August. The programme happened in Rani Seethai Hall, Chennai. In the seminar, the topics discussed are winning communication skills, transformation from CMA to CEO, goal setting and personality development, self-confidence, positive attitude, tips for success in examination, and women empowerment. ICMAI offers postal and oral coaching classes. A student should join the oral coaching centre recognised by the institute.
The coaching centre should have the facilities to conduct oral coaching. The student will receive a coaching of four months with 240 lecture hours. The lecture is inclusive of tutorial classes. Each lecture hour stretches for 45 minutes. The coaching centre will prepare the student for an hour’s examination. After completing the oral coaching, the student will receive a certificate in the oral coaching completion. The four regional councils offer oral coaching to the students. She holds the position of secretary in SOCA, treasurer in AITPA, first secretary of honorary consul of Zambia, and management committee member of Shiv Nada International School. She is the president of the Rotary Club and a committee member of CAFI. She is a committee member of the corporate laws and corporate governance committee incorporated by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. She is the head of the corporate laws committee at ICAI from 2015 to 2022. She holds the position of Independent Director in Muthoot Capital Services Limited. Various job positions and responsibilities show that she is a committed person with a high profile.
CMA Pooja Kulkarni:
Tmt. Pooja Kulkarni IAS is the special secretary of the Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce department. She completed her IAS in Tamil Nadu in 2003. Pooja Kulkarni has 16 years of experience in various departments such as rural development, elections, Chennai Corporation, school education, finance department and industries. She is the special secretary and part of statutory bodies. She has worked with Chennai Smart City Limited, guidance, New Tirupur Area Development Corporation, TANCEM, ELCOT, TEDA, TNIIFSL, and TDFC. She initiated detailed project reports for Greater Chennai Corporation and structured the private-public partnerships.

CMA Ashwin Kumar G. Dalwadi is the president of the Institute. He has been practising cost accountancy subject since 1989. He has academic excellence and rich professional experience. He is the senior partner of M/S Dalwadi and associates in Ahmedabad. Since 1990 he has been participating in the activities of the institute. He is positioned in the regional council member of WIRC for two terms. The period of his service is 2002 to 04 and 2004 to 07. He served as a chairman of ICMAI WIRC from 2003 to 04. He is elected for two consecutive terms by the members. The term of his service in the past was 2019 to 2023. He was elected for the second time from 2023 to 2027. He holds the membership and acts as a chairman in many committees. CMA Bibhuti Bhushan is the vice president of the Institute.
