Tamil Nadu government announced the 12th standard results on May 8th. The statistics show that the female pass percentage surpasses the boy’s pass percentage. The pass percentage of boys and girls go as 91.45 and 96.38 percentage. The overall pass percentage of 2023 is 94.03 per cent. 6573 students scored centum in the accountancy subject. In the commerce subject, 5,678 students scored centum. In English subject, 15 students got centum. In Tamil, only two students got centum. It is easy to get centum in accountancy, and commerce with perseverance. It is hard to get centum in languages. There are 323 students with a hundred per cent of pass. S.Nandhini is the topper for Tamil Nadu. She studied in Annamalaiar Mills girls’ higher secondary school in Dindigul. She is the daughter of a person working as a daily wage worker. She secured 600 out of 600. She had become the centre of attraction. The blog reveals the mindset of successful students and what made them aspire to CA as their future.
Education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamamozhi said that the state government provide special coaching to 47,000 student absentees. These students have not attended the examination due to personal issues. He said that the state government has plans to initiate career guidance for different groups of students. The state government will commence the guidance with 3,200 schools. Career counsellors will guide the students to higher educational institutions. Minister said that the centum scores increased to 32,501 this year. The record of the previous year reveals 23,957. The students from accountancy and commerce surpass the other students. The centum in accountancy and commerce is from 6,573 and 5,678 students. The number of students with centum in other subjects is as follows: computer science 4,618, chemistry 3,909, physics 812, and 690 mathematics. The highest pass percentage is from computer science subjects. Around 99.29 students have passed the computer science subject. The districts with the highest pass percentage are Virudhunagar, Tirupur, and Perambalur. The percentage of students who pass goes as 97.85, 97.79 and 97.59.
Tamil Nadu Topper Nandhini.S:
Nandhini hails from the Dindigul district. Her parents’ names are Saravanakumar and Banupriya. S.Nandhini celebrated her success with her teachers and parents. She spoke to the media. She said that being a daily wage worker, her father never stopped her from studying. Nandhini says that her father’s hard work is the motivation and reason for success. She further says that her father groomed her by saying education is wealth. Her father encouraged her to walk towards her dreams. She also said that her teachers supported her from LKG. Nandhini stands as a pride to the teachers and school.
Chennai topper Gayathiri. N:
Gayathiri studied at MH Road GCC School, Perambur. Her father works in a library at the presidency club. Her mother works at pazhamudhir cholai, a vegetable shop as a cashier. She made her family proud with 592 marks in 12th standard. She has secured a centum in accountancy. In English, her mark is 96. Her score in the other subjects goes as 99. Gayathri said that her parents made it a point to encourage her despite the financial struggles. Her mother said that her teachers supported her a lot. She does not take private coaching for board exams. Mayor R Priya said that as announced in the budget the toppers and students with centum will receive a reward of 10,000 each. The motivation from the surrounding community brought her grand success. She aspires to do a chartered accountancy course. Mike Muralidharan, chairman of the Ethiraj Trust, offered a graduation seat with a full scholarship.
Salary of doctors, engineers and chartered accountants:
The average salary of a Doctor in India goes from 5.4 lakhs to 17.7 lakhs per annum. The average salary of a chartered accountant in India goes a minimum of eight lakhs and a maximum of sixty lakhs. In 2023, the placement information shows that Reliance industries offer 25 to 45 lakhs. Hindustan Unilever Ltd offers ten to thirty-six lakhs. Deloitte offers fourteen to thirty-five lakhs. KPMG offer fourteen to thirty-two lakhs to the students. The average salary of an engineer goes a minimum of two lakhs and a maximum of ten lakhs. The salary analysis says that chartered accountants get more salary than doctors and engineers in India. After qualifying for specialised areas, doctors earn equivalent to chartered accountants. After the experience, engineers also earn well as the technology is growing periodically. Doctor, engineer and chartered accountancy is a matter of interest. It is not a scale to measure the skills.
